You have some of the most substantive posts on the forum, I always look forward to them. You take it to another whole level.

Thank you. I have only just begun this inquiry and it appears I may have scared more than a few- but that is okay as I made up my mind that I can take this journey alone, too- as I would not truly be alone in any real sense.

Some of the other information I will be analyzing is song choices and reasons why certain songs were played more often than other songs during certain time periods- Black Throated Wind was 73s child. Samson and Delilah the champion in 1976-

So tell me, does it give anyone goose bumps when they think about the lyrics to this song and what happened in the presidential election? I have a feeling I am going to find many more of these little coincidences- and sure why often find what we are looking for- but the data will speak for itself.

I always found it fascinating that, consdiering when the band grew up so to say and the enormous size of their "cult" that they never became a protest band of any kind at any time- the potential was there to do so- and the fans would have listened- it was not until after Phil's transplant that you ever heard anything resembling preaching (Wavy Gravys comments about the bombing of the childrens hospital notwithstanding)

Imagine if Jerry ripped up the popes picture on SNL...

It was a good thing they stayed out of politics, they would have been an easy target for the CIA.
